Using recycled materials from around the house is a fun
way to create a last minute craft project. A great craft project is to
create a picture frame. You can create a frame in a multiple of ways using
any of the following items: a tissue box, popsicle sticks, or a cereal box
to name a few possible items.
You will also want to gather the following items:
Newspaper comics
Buttons
Glue
Wire (floral wire works well)
Magnets
Scissors
Tape or hot glue
Photo
Get creative and have your child think of things that can be reused or
recycled for this craft.
You will then need to cut the tissue or cereal box to
create a frame, or glue together the Popsicle sticks. Then you can use the
newspaper comics, buttons and glue to decorate. You can also create a
hanger with the wire or use the magnet to create a frame that can hang on
the refrigerator. You can tape or hot glue the wire on the back of the
frame and then tape a picture inside. |
