Tell Me Thursday

Yesterday’s Wordless Wednesday was a recent picture of my daughter practicing her violin.  She is in second grade and started playing this past October.  We are very lucky to be in a school system that has an instrumental program starting this young.

I am very proud of her.  She practices every day and really seems to love it.  She gets frustrated sometimes because should would really love to be able to fiddle.  But, she understands that there is a lot of practice to do before she gets to that level.

There are a couple of other notable things in the picture from yesterday.  If you notice, there is a big blur at the bottom of the photo.  That would be my son.  I’m not sure if he just wanted to be in the picture or if he had a ton of extra energy, but he was running around like a crazy guy, hence the blur.

You may also notice the little table in the background.  It has some books on it and what used to be a plant.  That thing is long past dead, but I can not bring myself to throw it away.  I have the brownest thumb and kill every plan that comes into my house.  For some reason I can’t bring myself to throw that away.  I really liked it…when it was alive.

What a great story! Thanks for participating in TMT – Mr Linky was sleeping this morning so if you want to stop by and add in to that too, we’d appreciate it!
